Merck Frosst Canada Ltd. is located in Kirkland, province of Québec, Canada. Kirkland is a residential suburb about 30 minutes from downtown Montréal and 15 minutes from Dorval International Airport.
The site has facilities for almost every aspect of the pharmaceutical product development process, from discovery to production.
The Merck Frosst Centre for Therapeutic Research is the largest private biomedical research facility in Canada. It is housed in two, three storey buildings.
The Centre employs more than 225 world-class scientists, and houses the country's largest privately funded research library. Within its state-of-the-art laboratories, the entire gamut of research is conducted.
Employees also have access to an excellent cafeteria, and a modern daycare centre.
